What is Data Stream?

The specific flow of data moving from a platform (Web, iOS, or Android app) into your GA4 Property.

In the old Universal Analytics, data was separated by "Views" (e.g., a View for Web traffic, a View for iOS traffic).

In Google Analytics 4, the architecture flattened. A single GA4 "Property" holds all your data. To get data into that property, you create Data Streams.
